By joining Heron, you gain access to a wide range of projects from Irish law firms. You can enjoy flexible work arrangements, grow your earning potential, and have professional growth and career development opportunities. Heron offers the freedom to work on your terms, creating a better work-life balance and the ability to work from anywhere.
To use the Service, first sign up and complete your profile. The profile is not a lengthy process. Personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and work history. Once registered, you can be available for services and be matched with law firms.
Heron connects you with law firms that need specialist roles or various legal tasks and projects. You can expect a diverse range of projects that match your skills and expertise.
You must comply with the Terms and Conditions of Use, which include maintaining accurate account information, adhering to the Acceptable Use Policy, and respecting the Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in termination of your access to the platform.
The payment system is straightforward: law firms pay 15% to Heron and 10% to the legal professional on the overall project. For the first six months, the professional will not be charged a fee. Milestones are agreed upon in advance and set up within the platform, with billing and payment handled via the platform.
